Nursing Covers

I wanted to show you my most recent Nursing Covers. They are a great way to be able to nurse your baby in public without having to constantly hold up a blanket!  The adjustable strap at the top and a half circle of boning enable you to see your baby but others cannot see in.   :)

Flannel Blanket & Burp cloth Sets

I just bought several really cute flannels and decided to make blankets. I had been wanting to try this fun burp cloth tutorial, and this gave me the chance. I had a little extra owl and polka dot fabric, so I decided to make this fun infant bib. I think the flannel makes the blankets soft and cozy and the burp cloths and bib very absorbent. They turned out adorable and they make great sets!

Baby Shower Fun

I recently helped give a baby shower for a friend. Her theme for the baby's room was argyle and monkeys in green, blue, and brown.
As part of her present, I embroidered this onesie with a cute argyle design
A cute peanut banner
One of my sisters helped me make this adorable cake...it tasted SO good!

Spring SALE!

Hi Friends,
VDBM is having a big Spring Craft Fair on March 3 from 1-4 pm at the Bowen's home. (Email me if you want directions.)
This will most likely be the last craft fair I host as I plan to launch my Etsy site by this Summer, so come check out my newest products.

There will be two special guests: Andrea Danchi, will be selling her hand made jewelry and Katie Bowen, selling knitted baby accessories and washcloths.

There will also be three fun door prizes throughout the afternoon and a prize for the person who brings the most guests, so bring a few friends along!!

Hope to see you there,
Mimi

Necklace Pendant

I made this necklace pendant for a good friend of mine who is due with her first baby boy in June. So exciting! I combined a couple of ideas I had seen, which were some cute glass tile pendants at Sugar Bee Crafts and this necklace at Femina, both of which are really cute :) So I just did my own spin on Mandy's tutorial and then I took satin ribbon, attached a clasp, and strung the pendant on. It makes an adorable little hand made baby gift!

Zoomed out so you can see the pretty satin ribbon :)

Adorable Changing pad and Wipes clutch

I just made this Adorable new changing pad and wipes clutch set. I decided to go with pink and brown because I think it looks modern and girlie :) I love how it turned out! Two of the things I love about the changing pad are that it's two-sided with vinyl on both sides so that it's easy to clean and that you can roll it up easily for traveling.

Sewing with my Mom :)

I have been sewing with my mom as long as I can remember! She is the one who taught me how to sew and I love her for it!  My mom is well known for her baby bibs, they are very cute and have great coverage. Here are some of the most recent ones we have made together she makes the bibs and I embroider them.  Enjoy!
