I'm Back! :)

I am sorry I have not been back sooner! I have been traveling out of state and out of country, babysitting, helping with the plans for a very exciting double wedding coming up in my family, and filling orders and updating my shop! So happy these owl-themed cuties are now available in my shop! Hopefully I will be back to blogging more regularly now!

More Christmas Presents!

I was really excited to embroider this blanket for my dad! It was so soft, and looks great on his big armchair, waiting for him to have a chance to sit down and relax after a busy day at work. This is one of the first things I've embroidered for him, but it won't be the last!

Last year I followed this tutorial to make a poinsettia pin to wear during the holiday season. Mom loved that pin, and so this year I made her these lovely napkin rings by making the same flowers and hot-gluing them onto plastic napkin rings! She loved using them to make our Christmas dinner table beautiful, and I loved making her something special.

Etched Wine Glasses

Now that the holiday is over, I'm so excited to share with you pictures of the Christmas presents I crafted for my older brother's family! I had so much fun making these etched wine glasses. My friend Emily was so sweet to help me with them! Click on this for her etching tutorial if you feel inspired to try it for yourself!

UNC Tie T-shirt

  I had so much fun appliqueing this amazing t-shirt for my younger brother's Christmas gift! All I did was cut out the tie shape, apply stabilizer to the back, and used spray adhesive to attach it to the shirt before zigzagging around the outside of the shape. It turned out great, and I'm so happy he loves it!
