I was babysitting a little girl the other day, and she wanted to do a sewing project. I remembered seeing a picture of a similar cute bird; one of my sisters drew me a pattern, and we pieced the bird together using fabric scraps I had. We had so much fun, and it was easy to do, including experimenting with free-handing the face! We added a loop so it could be used as an ornament or a doorknob hanger, and it would make a fun gift too!
"A bird in the hand is worth two projects thought of and not sewn."
I really enjoyed getting to design and make these cute little baby bracelets. I'm happy to say these have been a great seller in my shop! Stop by if you know of a baby who needs a little sparkle, and check out my selection or custom-order your own!
I am sorry I have not been back sooner! I have been traveling out of state and out of country, babysitting, helping with the plans for a very exciting double wedding coming up in my family, and filling orders and updating my shop! So happy these owl-themed cuties are now available in my shop! Hopefully I will be back to blogging more regularly now!
